To all Echo Lake Bible Camp Supporters and Campers:
As we prepare for the 80th year of camping ministry we are looking forward to what God wants to do. We have a great past that we can cherish together and we have a great present ministry that we can celebrate together. I also believe that we will have a great future that we can commit ourselves to being a part of.
We regret to inform you we have given out wrong information regarding our camp rates. We sincerely apologize for the mix up, confusion and the frustration that this is causing. As a camp board we are frustrated and embarrassed by this. Unfortunately the camp brochures have the wrong rates for the Youth and Kids Camps. The rates should be the same as the rates on our website: Youth Camp is $190 and Kids Camp is $175. These are the same rates as they were in 2012.
As a Camp Board we do our best to run an efficient ministry and are pleased to keep our rates lower than most other camps in our area. We are deeply sorry for not noticing this mistake until after the brochures had been sent out.
Echo Lake Bible Camp really needs your continued prayers and financial support at this time. We recently had a significant and unexpected expense and needed to replace our water pump. We are also experiencing some flooding damage in the Camp Manager's house. Just like our homes and local churches, our camp needs finances to run. We not only want to maintain what God has given us but we desire to improve and grow into the future as well. One project we are doing is putting new bunk beds into some of the rooms in cabins E & F. We would ask you to join us in cherishing our past, celebrating our present and committing to our future through your finances and prayers. Thank you for doing what the Lord asks you to do.
